Hey gang, new collaborative music video with lyricist Peter Gregutt, right here!
Quarantine here in Brooklyn, New York has been a wild time -- wild precisely because things have been so calm in my usually bustling neighborhood. There's no denying it's been a stressful time for many artists, but removing FOMO from the equation has also inspired some fun creative projects. On this one, writer Peter Gregutt came up with lyrics, Jerry Lightnin' Stubblefield (my father) came up with some music, and I filled in the rest. Special shout-out to my wife, Chinny, for camera work.
If you haven't seen Midsommar or The Wicker Man or Zazbriskie Point, I'd recommend holding off on this until you've seen them as it includes footage from each -- though it's not particularly spoiler heavy. With video production mostly stalled, "borrowing" a little footage from other filmmakers here and there seemed the best way to get this story told.
